The concept of go and find a job was difficult before, but post the economic changes in 2009, it seems that this term and the previous connotations are almost obsolete.
With layoffs and long term unemployment so high it is very competitive the job market is very competitive. Here are some ideas to get you noticed and employed:
1.Assess yourself. Although most will say this self explanatory let's re-evaluate this issue. Self assessment can be done through taking tests, looking at and filling out checklists and or by brainstorming. Essentially the goal is to identify what you intend to do with your life as a means to gain an income through employment.A key focus point is here is to start from a position of " I have all of my bases covered so what do I want to do". Often times, conducting a job search can re-enforce a sense of lack, which in turn heightens our awareness so much that we stress, which then takes our focus away from doing or choosing what will make us happy. more
